Dr. Larry Hollier, Chancellor of the LSU Health Sciences Center, shares his insights with regard to the highly anticipated University Medical Center scheduled to open in 2015 benefitting health care in New Orleans. Chancellor Hollier is interviewed by Ed Marshall on his television show Money Talks on WLAE.

Serving as the medical education center for excellence for health care professions in Louisiana, the UMC will be part of a collaborative complex in downtown New Orleans with the new Veterans Affairs medical center. The hospitals will be key academic anchors for LSU and other health care training schools throughout South Louisiana.
